Guyanese Bread and Fruits Pudding

Ingredients:
6 slices of bread, buttered
2 cups of warm milk
1 cup of sugar
2 eggs
2 cups of dried fruit, cut very thinly
Cinnamon
Preparation:
Place 3 slices of bread in a baking dish or more, until you cover
the dish completely. Put the fruit on top of the bread, evenly.
Beat the eggs, with the sugar, add the warm milk. Top the fruit on
the serving dish with the rest of bread loaves, the same amount of
loaves as used at the bottom. It must cover all the fruit.
Pour over the bread the milk and eggs and sugar mixture, very gently,
not moving the bread. Sprinkle with the cinnamon on top, let it stand
out of the oven for a half hour, then bake it in moderate oven for
45 minutes, or until it gets golden on top.
