Dulce de Leche Soufflé: Dessert from Ecuador

1 cup of Dulce de leche
5 tablespoons sugar
1/3 cup chopped nuts
Mix the dulce de leche with the nuts. Put it into a serving dish
that can be taken to the oven, previously buttered.
Put the 5 egg whites in a bowl, and beat them till stiff and forming
peaks. Then spread them over the dulce de leche.
Beat apart the egg yolks and the sugar until they are light and creamy.
Spread them over the beaten egg whites. Be careful not to mix them,
just let them lie on top. Take it to a moderate hot oven for 15 minutes,
and you can serve this hot. Whipped Cream can be added, just a touch,
on each plate. Or chocolate chips as well. This dessert can be served
with a dry white wine. This serves four people.
