Cheese Bread, Colombian Bread Recipe
Several countries in South America have cheese bread as their favorite,
and their recipe differs also from other countries.
1 cup tapioca flour
2 ½ fresh grated cheese cups
1 teaspoon sugar
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup mozzarella cheese, grated
11/2 cup corn flour
Put the flours on the kitchen table, make a hole in the center add
the sugar, the salt, the eggs, and the cheeses in the middle. Mix
well and knead this dough until it is very soft.
Make little balls with the dough, shape them round and put them on
a greased baking sheet.
Take them to medium heat oven for 25 minutes or until golden on top.
Serve them hot, excellent for teatime!
